Learn the steps at the beginners class with 7.30-8.30pm with Simon! Followed by dancing led by resident DJ Simon Selmon & special guest DJs playing great dance music of the 30s, 40s & 50s & beyond inc Swing, Hot Jazz, early R&B, Jump Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll for Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Jive, Shag & Balboa dancers!
A chilled atmosphere where you can meet friends, relax, enjoy a drink or a tasty pie and dance the night away!

At this Art Deco Late, you’ll be introduced to the infectious rhythms and social dances of the 1920s and 30s - from Charleston to Jitterbug. Brought vividly to life by one of the world’s longest-running, award-winning swing dance companies. Led by professional dancer and historian Simon Selmon, you’ll be guided through clear, enjoyable steps designed to get you moving quickly and confidently. No experience is needed, no partner required - just a willingness to have fun. With decades of experience teaching this era’s dances, and credits spanning stage, film and television, Simon and the SwingdanceUK team specialise in making vintage dance feel welcoming, stylish and irresistibly alive - all within the iconic setting of London Transport Museum.
